Reflection

Lesson 6
Today Mrs Baker came around to everyone individually talking about our progress, she also handed out the progress checklist that we need to have to start ticking off things. I have started my movie on childhood cancer and the Starlight Children's Foundation. However Mrs Baker said that I need to bring in my script/storyboard that I have done at home for my movie which I forgot to bring in today. Mrs Baker said that she needs to see evidence of this progress, so I will bring it in next lesson so that she can sign it on my Progress Checklist.

Over the past week I have started my movie with pictures and information, as well as some background music. I am quite happy with it so far, however I need to think about how exactly I am going to make this video seen by others. Whether its on YouTube (which I originally was thinking about) and/or showing it at a Middle School Assembly. I will think about this over the course of the time it takes to make the movie and blog about my thoughts.

Reflection

Lesson 5
In today's lesson Mrs Baker had our WISE Project Planner's back from Mrs Rigby. In my planner Mrs Rigby had ticked it, meaning that I can go ahead with my project knowing that it is okay to do. However I did get Mrs Baker to write on it that I am only focusing on children with cancer in Australia, as last lesson she said it would be too broad if I was to do chronically children in Australia as a whole.

At home I have done some research on children with cancer in Australia and the Starlight Foundation. Today I found some photos that I can put into my short movie along with the information.
